Habitat improvement

Throughout the farm we have enhanced our valley floor with native plants, trees and shrubs. We have built a small pond that attracts tiger salamanders, toads, frogs, waterfowl and other birds. There are numerous nest boxes throughout the five acres to support small birds.

We have created wildlife buffer zones of grasses and forbs between garden planting zones to attract quail, pheasants and doves.
